The European Para Youth Games (EPYG), to be held in Istanbul from July 21 to 28, 2025, is gearing up for a historic milestone. Organized under the auspices of the European Paralympic Committee, the event is set to go down in history with the highest number of participating countries ever recorded.
This year, nearly 700 young para-athletes from 31 countries, along with their coaches and support teams, will come together in Istanbul. This remarkable turnout is not just a numerical achievement—it’s a clear reflection of the trust the European Paralympic community places in Istanbul and Türkiye.
Nine Sports, One Goal: Rising Together
Istanbul 2025 is more than a sporting event—it’s the embodiment of a vision built on inclusion, inspiration, and hope. Young athletes will compete fiercely across nine disciplines: Athletics, Swimming, Judo, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Boccia, Archery, Goalball, and Wheelchair Basketball.
Each of them will write their own story—one that celebrates not just medals, but victories of perseverance, solidarity, and determination.
Where Youth Compete, Inspiration Spreads
At EPYG 2025, young athletes will do more than compete. They’ll form new friendships, experience diverse cultures, and look to the future with renewed hope. Youth from across Europe will meet in the heart of Istanbul’s multicultural spirit—and rise together.
This event will be a powerful reminder that barriers are not only physical—but often perceptual.
Istanbul 2025: Stronger Together
By hosting EPYG 2025, Istanbul will once again showcase Türkiye’s organizational excellence and visionary approach to Paralympic sports on the global stage.
This event stands as one of the strongest steps toward shaping Europe’s future through sport. Istanbul will shine not just as a host city, but as a symbol of inclusion, equal opportunity, and collective progress.
