As the countdown to the European Para Youth Games (EPYG), taking place in Istanbul from 21 to 28 July 2025, continues, the official media accreditation process is now open for journalists and media professionals who wish to cover the event on site!
This year marks the first time Türkiye will host a multi-sport Paralympic youth event, welcoming over 1,200 participants, including 700 athletes from 31 countries. Competitions will be held across nine disciplines—Athletics, Swimming, Judo, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Boccia, Archery, Goalball, and Wheelchair Basketball—leaving a lasting mark on the city’s sports history.

The Turkish National Paralympic Committee and the EPYG 2025 Local Organizing Committee place great importance on the role of Turkish sports media in bringing this monumental event to the public. Media coverage of competitions, the opening and closing ceremonies, athlete interviews, and all event highlights will play a crucial role in raising awareness and visibility for Paralympic sport.
How to Apply
Media professionals wishing to cover EPYG 2025 on site must send an email to press@istanbul2025.org.tr by July 7, 2025, including the following information:
- Full Name
- Turkish ID Number
- Affiliated Media Organization
- Biometric Photograph
Approved applicants will be granted access to:
